Happy New Year from Chicago!
New Years Eve
We spent New Years Eve at Wet, a club in downtown Chicago on Lake St. The club was pretty narrow and long and probably had a capacity of a couple hundred. The bar service was excellent, especially after giving the bartender an advance tip, and the selection was extensive. Tickets were $100 for open-bar from 8pm to 3am so we definitely got our money’s worth.
New Years Day
Although the Rose Bowl didn’t turn out too well for the Wolverines, the Fiesta Bowl turned out to be pretty exciting. It definitely was one of the best college football games I’ve ever seen, perhaps I should transfer to Boise State! Oh well, there’s always next year…
